Close on the heels of the State government announcing entertainment tax exemption on movies titled in Tamil, several production houses titled their movies in Tamil while many which are under-production opted for a change of title.

Joining the list is Nenjil Jil Jil starring Navdeep and Aparna. The movie's title has been changed to Nenjil.

Says director Selvah, 'Since we wanted to name the movie in Tamil, we chose to give up Jil Jil from its name. Henceforth the movie is titled Nenjil'.

A romantic entertainer, the movie also features Vadivelu in an important role.

The movie, which has music by Imman, is being produced by Bhavani, Manish and K T Pillai under the banner Gatpaham Entertainments Candy Films Ltd. The shooting for the movie is completed and the postproduction works are currently on. Set for early release is Nenjil.
