Though he has good looks, acting skills and hails from the family of film personalities, success has been eluding Arun Kumar. In spite of acting in over a dozen films, Arun Kumar is still struggling to establish himself as an actor to reckon with in Kollywood.

His long wait may come to an end with actor Arjun coming to his rescue.

Arjun will produce a movie titled Thavam which will feature Arun Kumar in the lead role. Being directed by debutant Sakthi Paramesh, the muhurat will be on 30 June with who's who of Kollywood taking part.

The movie features Prakash Raj and Vadivelu in prominent roles. Two new girls from Mumbai Neeru and Arpitha are being introduced as heroines in the film.

According to Arjun, 'I am beginning a new journey with a team which is competent to render a good movie. Let's hope that achieve success not just in this movie but in their career'.

On his part, Sakthi Paramesh, 'Thavam will be a real entertainer. With the guidance of Arjun, who has a huge experience in the industry, I am hopeful of rendering a hit'.
