After establishing himself strongly in politics, Vijayakanth is back to his best now. His 148th movie Perarasu is on the starting blocks and would grace the theatres very soon.

Meanwhile, the actor has plans to commence a new movie to be directed by P Vasu and talks in this regard are on with producer Salem Chandrasekhar.

Sources close to Vijayakanth said, his 150th would be a mega-budget movie and would be his home production. It would be a politically awakening movie.

Vijayakanth, an MLA now, wants to keep himself a float in public life, through some hard-hitting movies.
