The much-awaited audio of Silambarasan's Vallavan was launched in Chennai. Already in trouble over the delay in completion of the movie, producer P L Thenappan chose to go in for a soft release.

Vallavan has musical score by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the audio is released by Hit Music. The album has nine songs with Silambarasan rendering his voice for a couple. He has also penned the lyrics for a song sung by Blazee in his company.

The album also has a song sung by Silambarasan's dad Vijaya T Rajendhar. Meanwhile rumors are abuzz that a compromise has been reached between Silambarasan and Reema Sen. They have agreed to bury all their difference and continue to work together and complete the movie in the presence of Thenappan.

Vallavan is being scripted, directed and enacted by Silambarasan in the company of Nayantra, Kadhal fame Sandhya and Reema Sen.
