Asin would star opposite director Cheran in a new film.
Interestingly it would not be directed by Cheran.
Asin, who is in no hurry to sign movies in Tamil, is now acting opposite Pawan Kalyan for a Telugu movie titled Annavaram, has accepted to act opposite Cheran.
The movie is supposedly a Tamil remake of blockbuster Telugu movie titled Missamma, which featured Bhoomika in the lead role.
The movie would be directed by a debutant.
Cheran is currently busy with his Maya Kannadai, a movie being directed by himself and produced by Subbu, son of veteran producer Panchu Arunachalam. Once he is through with his Maya Kannadi, he would commence the shooting of the Tamil remake of Missamma.
