The latest buzz doing rounds in Kollywood is that director Perarasu, after tasting success with Tirupathi, might wield the megaphone for Kamal Hassan.

The release of Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu is plagued by several controversies and the script for Dasavatharam needs more fine-tuning. So the actor has reportedly made up his mind to do a commercial venture now and have it released this Deepavali after which he would commence his Dasavatharam.

With Perarasu rendering back-to-back hits in Thirupachy, Sivakasi and Tirupathi, it seems the director is an automatic choice to do Kamal Hassan's movie.

Plans are on to start shooting by June and wrap up the film by October, so that it is ready to be released for Deepavali.

But official word is still awaited on this. Stay tuned for more.
