A big house is back

After a long gap, the famed production house Sathya Movies founded by MGR will be churning out a movie in Tamil.

Owned by former Minister and a trusted lieutenant of MGR, R M Veerappan, Sathya Movies would be jointly producing with Sathya Jothy Thyagarajan, a movie titled Emdan Magan.

The movie features Bharath and Gopika in the lead roles.

Directing the movie would be Metti Oli fame Thirumurugan.

The shooting for the movie would commence on 30 March in Chennai. While Sathya Jothy's last production venture was Parthiban Kanavu, Sathya Movies last produced Rajini starrer Basha.

It's a good sign indeed that the likes of Sathya Movies are back to production.
