Though she played a minuscule role in Madarasi, actress Gajala is all thrilled about the movie for it portrayed her in a homely role.

Speaking about the film, she says, 'I played Jagapathi Babu's wife in the movie. It was a homely role and I relished playing a part in a movie directed by Arjun'.

Asked why a big gap after a successful outing in Ram, Gajala says, it was a hero-oriented subject. Yet director Ameer gave me enough opportunities to act. It gave me two offers in Telugu. My life has taken a turn after Ram. People started to recognize my acting skills'.

For now, Gajala is planning to do both Telugu and Tamil movies.

My desire is to establish a place for myself in the film industry, She adds.

Gajala, despite a slow run in her career, is hoping that she will triumph in the end.
