Producer Manickam Narayanan is all thrilled at the way his Vettiayadu Vilaiyadu has shaped up. Why not? For, he is producing the movie that stars Kamal Haasan.

On how he landed up with the project, Manickam Narayanan says, ' Producer Khaja Mohideen has been good friend over the years and he urged me take up the production of the movie which I was initially hesitant for my friends told me that it involves a big risk. However I was keen to go ahead with the project and accepted the offer '.

He denied rumors that there was difference of opinion between Kamal Haasan and Gowtham Menon during the shooting of the movie.

Gowtham, Kamal, cinematographer Raviverman and music director Harris Jeyaraj have been contributing their mite for the successful outcome of the movie and needless rumors spread about their relationship.

On casting Kamalinee Mukherjee as heroine, Narayanan, says, the script needed a fresh face and in order to add more color and grandeur to the film, we decided to cast her in the movie.

A major portion of the movie is now completed and the movie would grace theatres on 14 April.
