After a long gap, director Mahendran ‘s movie for National Film development Corporation (NFDC) is being revived and may be released soon. Interestingly this NFDC product stars Aravindsamy after a long gap with actresses Gowthami and Ranjitha giving him company. The movie was started when Arvindswamy was a serious actor.

Mahendran who has rendered classics like Mullum Malarum, Nenjathai Killadhe and Uthiri Pookal,has penned the script and screenplay besides directing the movie.

The subject is rural that highlights woman's power. Here we have two women vying for honors. It is sure to draw the attention of the jury at the national level, says Mahendran about the movie.

Sasanam is an emotional drama depicting human relationships and values, says Aravindswamy.

The movie has music by Bala Bharathy.

Let's hope the movie goes on to win more laurels at various film fests where it would be screened.
