Actress Kushboo, who is in the eye of a storm in Tamilnadu, took the honorable way out and produced herself before a Mettur court that had issued a non-bailable warrant against her.

It was the most natural thing that a law abiding citizen could have hoped to do.

But all eyes are on the Madras High Court that had reserved its orders on her anticipatory bail plea.

When Kushboo approached the Mettur Judicial Magistrate Court to surrender she was told by court officials to present herself on Wednesday as the Magistrate was not present.

"I came to surrender and will come to the court tomorrow (Wednesday)," Kushboo told reporters.

On November 11, Judicial Magistrate II S Sridharan had issued a non-bailable warrant against the actress for her failure to appear in court in connection with a defamation suit filed against her for her remarks.

Kushboo has once again proved that she likes to take the moral high ground.
