After witnessing a delay in completion, Dhanush starrer Athu Oru Kanaa Kaalam was finally completed and was finally slated to hit the theatres on Deepavali.

Unfortunately its director Balu Mahendra has now posed a hurdle for the release of the film.

After lodging a complaint with Police urging them to get back the remaining sum of Rs four lakh of his salary from the producer of the movie a some days back, Balu Mahendra has again gone ahead and lodged a complaint against the producer with the Tamil Film Directors Association. The same has been now forwarded to the FEFSI.

Balu Mahendra is in no mood to buy peace or to forgive, If anything he is talking tougher by the day.

Balu Mahendra, who presided over a photo exhibition in Chennai on Wednesday said, ‘it is unfair that the producer has not yet paid a major portion of salary to me. I have worked hard for the movie in spite of my bad health. Unless he is not going to settle the money, I will ensure that the movie is not released’.

Hell hath seen no fury like a soft and sensitive man scorned.
