Noted Carnatic vocalist Lalgudi S Jayaraman has composed tunes for a movie titled Sringaram.

The movie which is about the story of Devadasis, who lived in 1940s, is Lalgudi's first foray into the world of film music.

The movie stars noted Malayalam actor Manoj K Jayan in the lead role and directed by a debutante Sharada Ramanathan. Acclaimed cinematographer Madhu Ambat is cranking the camera.

Releasing the audio, Ilayaraja heaped praises on the whole team for a huge success in Sringaram.
