Arjun's directorial venture Madarasi is proceeding on right track and a major portion of the movie has been completed, says producer Subha Sandeep.

The movie which stars Telugu star Jagapathi Babu is about the travails in underworld and how a youth puts an end to the system.

A couple of songs were shot in London just a few days after the serial bomb blast and we were really tensed, she says and adds, 'Iam confident that Arjun as an actor cum director will do justice to the movie.'

Gajala, Vedika and Harika play the heroines in the movie with Vivek playing the comedy role. For Arjun, whose last film Chinna was a flop, Madarasi is very important.

His career has been on a tail spin for quite some time. Since his Mudhalvan he has not had any major hit.Though he has been acting in films regularly, he needs a big success to re-establish his supremacy.
