Those wearing Khaki are always faced with danger. Whether in real or in reel.

Sarath Kumar will understand the truism more clearly than anyone else.

The burly actor, who is playing the lead in Khaki, was injured during the shoot of the film at a crowded junction in Trichy.

The shooting was immediately cancelled and he was rushed to a private hospital in Tiruchirapalli.

Later in the evening on Monday he was rushed to Chennai by air and had a thorough check up at Apollo Hospitals.

After taking rest, the actor was back to business and he reported for the shoot of the movie in Tiruchirapalli on Tuesday.

Khaki stars Sarath Kumar in an honest cop's role and is being directed by Vincent Selvah.
