With September 14th drawing close, actor Vijayakanth is gearing for his momentous political launch.

The Captain after holding deliberations with members of his fans association has issued over 40 lakhs of identity cards to all his numbers in various parts of the State.

All arrangements to transport his party workers from various parts of the State to Madurai, where on 14th September he will announce his political entry has been made ready.

Sources close to Vijayakanth say once the political party is announced a mass demonstration will be carried out urging the Central and State governments to fulfill the basic needs of the people.

He has also reportedly instructed men close to him to survey the Assembly constituencies where his party stands a chance to secure a win in the next elections.
