Red card for Maddy

An interview to a Tamil magazine has landed Madhavan in a spot of bother.

Maddy, in an exclusive interview to a popular Tamil magazine, had stated that Tamil film producers cannot be trusted and they lack transparency.

This created ripples among a section of producers who reportedly lodged a complaint with Tamil Film Producers Council.

The Producers Council then shot off a letter to Madhavan urging him to apologize for his remarks.

However when Maddy did not respond to their request, the council has issued a red card.

In a statement, Tamil Film Producer Council secretary A L Alagappan has urged producers not to cast Madhavan in any of their movies until the actor apologizes for his statements.
