Super Star Rajinikanth’s comeback film Chandramukhi has shattered all records at the box office.

The movie on Wednesday successfully completed 100-run show in over 156 theatres all over the world including in theatres in Sri Lanka, South Africa and Malaysia.

Produced by Sivaji Productions and directed by P Vasu, the movie an inspiration of Kannada movie Aapthamithra, starred Rajinikanth, Prabhu, Vadivelu, Nassar, Jyothika and Nayantra.

After a dismal show in Baba, Rajni took a long gap for two years to come up with Chandramukhi. The unprecedented success of Chandramukhi has made the industry look up with hope, say the trade circles.

Chandramukhi has brought family audience back to the theatres, say theatre owners.
