Cinematographer turned director Thangar Bachchan is known for his sharp words. He has won the wrath of his colleagues several times for his acerbic comments on the industry itself.

With Thangar Bachchan playing the hero in his next Chidambarathil Oru Appasamy, he has launched a scathing attack on the contemporary heroes.

He says "acting is now difficult task. After I started to shoot my Chidambarathil Oru Appasamy. In which I play the hero, I have come to know how easy the job is.

For many months I searched for a suitable actor to do the role of Ilangovan in the movie and not finding anyone suitable, I finally decided that I would do it. In the beginning, my film unit was very skeptical about how this experiment would work. But things are okay".

In other words, he is suggesting that acting is no big deal. The controversial director has once again taken potshots at others.

But he has become such a loose cannon that others have stopped paying any heed to him.
