First they said Simran would dance for an item number. And then they said she wouldn't.

Now we can confirm that Simran is not going to dance in Vijay's Sivakasi.

Simran has delivered a baby boy recently and has been advised complete rest by the doctors, her appearing for a dance in Sivakasi is virtually ruled out.

Sources close to director Perarasu say that Malluwood glam girl Nayantra may be roped in for that song.

But is she twinkle-toed to match Vijay's unmistakable dancing abilities?
