Uday Kiran in KB's film

Following Jagapathi Babu, noted Tollywood actor Uday Kiran will be making his debut in Tamil filmdom.

Uday Kiran , who had acted in blockbuster Telugu movies including Chitram, Manasantha Nuvve, Nuvvu Nenu and Kalusukovalani has been roped in to play the lead role in K Balachander’s directortial venture Poi.

The movie to be produced by KB's protege and versatile actor Prakash Raj will be a bilingual film, being made in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously.

The movie will star a newcomer opposite Uday Kiran and has musical score by Vidyasagar.

A romantic film, Poi marks the return of K Balachander to the big screen, who has directed a total of 100 films so far.
