Silambarasan's directorial venture Vallavan went to the floors last week. The film's posters with him in a provocative clinch with actress Nayanthra created a stir in Kollywood.

It was objected to by many women's welfare organizations.

But Simbu, with typical insouciance, shrugs off the controversies.

"I don't find any wrong with the posters. It's a sign of intimacy between a couple. I assure that the movie will not have such a scene," he brazens out.

Then why was such a poster thought of? Silambarasan says "why not? All daily newspapers and magazines carry glamour photographs. If so, why not me?"

Simbu believes it is glamour that makes the world work. He has some contentious reasoning. "I would even say more number of youngsters have started to follow the game of tennis only after Sania Mirza, the glam doll, arrived on the scene".

Some reasoning, indeed!

"There is sensuality in everyone's heart, which I portray on screen. Vallavan will have glamour but without any vulgarity", Silambarasan says.
