Actress Trisha, following the success of her Varsham and NVNV, has established herself as the numero uno actress in Telugu filmdom.
She is the one to whom every producer is flocking and her remuneration is one of the top most in the South.
Now, actress Jyothika has emerged as a strong contender to Trisha over there. Her Tagore opposite Chiranjeevi released last year and did very well. She then had a big hit in Nagarjuna starrer Mass.
Now the dubbed version of Chandramukhi is doing brisk business there and Manmadhan's Telugu remake is awaiting its release.
So these two actresses from Kollywood are in a stiff race in Tollywood.
But obviously the local fans are missing them. At least Jyothika has some films in hand here, Trisha is totally out of it as far as Tamil is concerned.
