Distributors more than anybody else know the real picture --- whether a film is a hit or not, that is.

One leading distributor in Kollywood avers that it is some time since a real Tamil film had a great run at the box office.

Most of the new films are being made to run just to satisfy the egos of the stars and producers, he adds.

He however hopes the situation will change with the release of Mumbai Xpress and Chandramukhi.

Both the films are tipped to be winners by the box office pundits.
