Rajni answers them with silence

With S J Suryah taking a hasty retreat, the Tamil Protection Movement has turned its wrath on Rajnikanth's Chandramukhi.
Apparently expressing his displeasure against titling the movie Chandramukhi, which he says is a Sanskrit word, DPI general secretary and founder of the movement Thol Thirumavalavan, who after keeping quiet for over six months since the title was announced, has expressed his displeasure now over the title.
"Rajnikanth should have chosen some other Tamil title. We would urge him to do so at least before the release of the movie", he reportedly said.
Equally upset with actor Kamal Haasan who had turned their request to change title of his Mumbai Xpress, Thirumavalavan said we would ensure that all movies are henceforth titled only in Tamil.
Trouble for Chandramukhi started at the audio cassette release function last week when lyricist Vaali took a dig at Tamil Protection Movement and said their demand to name movies in Tamil alone is ridiculous.
It may be recalled that Vaali had said Chandramukhi is a Sanskrit word and if they insist to change the title in Tamil, they can only name it 'Nila Moonji'.
But Rajni, as is usually the case, is not falling for the bait.
He is keeping a dignified silence. And that has been his usual style: Let sleeping dogs lie.
