Director Selvaraghavan and Dhanush are busy now with Pudhupettai.

The interesting news is Namitha who was supposed to play the heroine in the movie has been given the boot and Sneha has been assigned to play the role.

Selvaraghavan has also put to rest all media speculation of a rift between him and actress Sonia Agrawal by casting her as another heroine in the movie.

Now Dhanush has the company of Sneha and Sonia Agarwal in Pudhupettai.

An elated Sneha says, "I am happy to be part of the team. My character is very powerful like the one I played in Autograph. I have seen movies like Kadhal Kondein and 7G rainbow and wondered at Selvaraghavan's talents."

Fresh from the success of his Raam, Yuvan Shankar Raja would be scoring the music in the movie.

A romantic-action entertainer, Pudhupettai is produced by Lakshmi Movie Makers.

For Sonia it is almost playing like in home ground. Selvaraghavan made all her hits like Kadhal Kondein and 7 G Rainbow Colony. So things are still hunky-dory between them.

Alas, the same cannot be said for Namitha.
