Trisha is the number one actress in Tamil. No disputes there.

Trisha, as it happens, has no Tamil films in her hand now.

Well, well… there is no irony here. It is just that Trisha is concentrating more on Telugu films these days and hence a virtual no-show here.

A couple of hit movies in Telugu has taken her to numero uno place there. The actress is doing a slew of films there and still producers are queued up outside her room.

An elated Trisha says, 'Thank Almighty, I have made it big in Andhra Pradesh." Though she doesn't exactly say in as many words, the general gist is that she is paid a higher remuneration there.

Does this mean Telugu would be her preferred choice here after? 'No' is the emphatic reply from Trisha. She says, "I still love to act in more Tamil films. My choice is Tamil for the industry here has excellent technicians."

Does Trisha take to glamour roles only in Telugu film industry? She again replies in the negative. "In Tollywood they see me as an character artiste only, there is no necessity for me to play glamorous roles there".
