Though Silambarsan has won a place for himself in the industry as a good screenplay writer after his work in Manmadhan, Silambarasan has no doubts as to what he should be concentrating on.

"I want to concentrate on my acting career only. Everything else is secondary. Me penning script for Manmadhan was just an accident. After reading in several newspapers of lover boys ditched by girl friends, the crux for my Manmadhan flashed my mind. My next challenge was to keep the audience engrossed for over two hours with a tight narration. Luckily everything fell in place and it worked eventually".
