Ajith's Ji was released recently and the movie has been reportedly drawing huge crowds at theatres in and around the State.

The movie is all about a college student entering politics.

But there were some stray complaints from fans and industry pundits that the movie was dragging towards the second half and few portions needed to be trimmed. Hence director N Lingusamy sent his men to all theatres where the movie is screened to gauge the public reaction. And after understanding the pulse of the audience, a few scenes towards the climax have been cut to make the movie more compact.

With the trimming, no doubt the movie turns out to be a racy entertainer.

But the talk of the film is about the other trimming --- that the hero Ajith has undergone.

He looks in very good shape, a far cry from his heavy-weighted bulk in his previous movies.

Ajith in fact looks refreshed.

And that's good news for his fans
