At a time when Bobby Simha has been receiving lot of praise for bagging National Award, a director has hit out at him, saying sudden fame has 'covered his eyes'.

M Marudhupandiyan, who has directed and produced 'Chennai Ungalai Anbudan Varaverkiradhu', said he roped in Bobby Simha for the film even before the release of 'Jigarthanda'.

"However, after the sudden fame post 'Jigarthanda', Bobby Simha did not cooperate with me. He refused to dub. He also criticised at my short film. This is unfair," Marudhupandiyan said.

'Chennai Ungalai Anbudan Varaverkiradhu', which has Bobby Simha as an aspiring filmmaker, is hitting the screens tomorrow.
