'Sagaptham', the launch vehicle of Vijayakanth's son Shanmugapandian was expected to hit the screens today (February 13). But it has not happened.

According to sources, some finishing touches are yet to be given and also the 'Captain' wants to release the film on a 'safe date'. "So it may take a few more weeks for the movie to see the light of the day."

Meanwhile, DMDK legislators on Thursday met Chennai city Police Commissioner S George and sought action against those creating memes on Vijayakanth in social media.
