Manisha in Chennai is busy wooing Tamil film directors and producers. Currently acting in Mumbai Express she had acted earlier in Indian, Baba and Muthalvan. In Mumbai her career on the downswing with no big heroes willing to act opposite her she had planned to act in a TV serial when Kamalhassan signed her. He had wanted Tabu instead but he had to settle for Manisha. Now Kamal is helping her to meet Tamil film directors and producers.
