With Ajith's last release 'Veeram' hitting screens well over a year, his upcoming movie 'Yennai Arindhaal' releasing on February 5 is eagerly anticipated by fans everywhere. You can get to know what to expect in 'Yennai Arindhaal here in this news preview.
Ever since Gautham Menon first said that the movie will be not just an action entertainer, but a film that appeals directly to his fans, everybody has been expecting a visual feast on screen. Fans' curiosity to watch their screen idol's offbeat performance is at an all-time heightened level and keeps growing.
'Yennai Arindhaal' has elements of crime, suspense and thrill along with two beautiful love stories. Trisha as a danseuse and Anushka Shetty as a software engineer, both fall in love with Ajith at different periods of time.
Gautham Menon in an interview had quoted, "Every parent will have a dream of wanting to see their child come good in life. Whether the child goes on to follow the parent's laid path or does he get diverted from his path forms the crux of the story in 'Yennai Arindhaal'".
Ajith has done hard-work to look right for the 3 get-ups he's sporting in the movie - as a 25 year old youth, as Trisha's lover and finally as a man of vengeance with Anushka.
Another notable aspect and character in 'Yennai Arindhaal' is the role of Arun Vijay who's being said to be portraying a character with massive negative shades. Arun Vijay's character named as Victor has already generated curiosity and his lady-love will be Parvathy Nair.
The movie also marks the occasion of Harris Jayaraj reuniting with Gautham Menon six years after their last film together 'Vaaranam Aayiram'. After the hit that 'Aadharu aadharu...' has become, fans are eagerly awaiting the film's release to weigh in on the re-recording and background score.
'Yennai Arindhaal' also has the distinction of bringing on board for screenwriting Thiagarajan Kumararaja, director of 'Aaranya Kaandam' and ace Bollywood scriptwriter Sreedhar Raghvan.
If Ajith's Satyadev IPS character gets the love it deserves among 'Thala' fans and all audiences alike, then there is a possibility of a sequel happening since the climax in the movie has been set in such a manner is what Gautham has quoted.
'Yennai Arindhaal' produced by A. M. Ratnam releases on February 5. Only time will tell us whether the movie exceeds audience's expectations and becomes a massive hit.
