One of such actresses who chooses her role based on charcter and not on payments, is Nithya Menon.If she doesn't like the role she has been pitched, no matter what the pay, she does not take it up, ever.

It seems like she has turned over a new leaf and appears on set perfectly for Mani Ratnam's OK Kanmani film in which she is acting now. Sources say she took up this film without even asking about the story or payments. Double standards much?
