Shankar as a producer seems to have made the right kind of investment. Balaji Sakthivel delivers big time with an emotional winner. Bharath, the young hero, is becoming a talent that you can't ignore.

2. Manmadhan

Simbu's vengeful return. Though his talk off the screen is grating and strident, on screen Simbu is endearing. The film is a slick entertainer.

3. Attgasam

Ajith's come back vehicle has clicked. The mix of masala elements is just perfect. Charan's chemistry with Ajith works, again.

4. Chellame

A gritty thriller. Good music. Acceptable glamour. Fine acting. Youthful flavor. Nice combination. Chellame is racing towards the 100th day.

5. Aye

Sarath Kumar's long-delayed release. Too early to pass a verdict. The openings have been okay.
