After earning global critical acclaim at prestigious film festivals across the world including the Toronto Film Festival, Fox Star Studios` The Crow`s Egg will now be screened at the esteemed Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF) from 10th- 16th December, 2014. The 11th edition of the festival will be held at The beach JBR. DIFF has a diverse line-up of the world`s best films from the Arab world and beyond.

The Crow`s Egg is a quirky comedy with a strong social message. The film revolves around the story of two carefree slum boys who are consumed by the desire to taste a new-fangled dish called pizza` when a pizza joint starts business on their old playground,. Realizing that one pizza costs more than their family`s monthly income, they begin to plan ways to earn more money - inadvertently setting in motion an adventure that will involve the entire city.

The film has been co-produced by superstar Dhanush and national-award winning director Vetri Maaran along with Fox Star Studios and has been directed by debutant Manikandan, who is also the writer and cinematographer of the film.
