Meena has signed on the dotted line for S J SuryahÂs Anbullah Nanban. The film was earlier titled BF and the director explained it as Best friend. The search for heroine went on to Mumbai . Kareena was the first choice but it did not work out. Finally the director has selected a new heroine and the photo session was recently done in Mumbai. The photos are soon to release. Meena is to do a supporting role similar to KiranÂs role in New. The role needs lot of glamour. Meena has also been signed to do a film Manithan directed by cinematographer Nivas. The film has malayalam actor Jaisurya in the lead along with Meena. The film is about a youth caught between lust and love. Meena is currently acting in Kannama which has dialogues by Kalaignar.
