Among the active celebs on the internet, Samantha is too. She keeps her Twitter page updated with not only her personal and career updates, but her views on general affairs are also a periodic update among her Tweets. Samantha has been posting her views on various national affairs of late, among which, her appreciative remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi is one. This sparked conversations on Samantha's interest in politics. The cute actress has come out in the open declaring what her opinion and take on politics is.

"I am thoroughbred Chennaiite. I hail from a normal middle class family, and took to modelling merely for pocket money. But the turn my life has taken afterwards is unimaginable and today I'm here, well liked by the masses. The main reason for my growth is the unrelenting support I've received from the audience. I am humbled by people's support and would want to do something for them in return. I already am doing as much as I can, as an individual. When there is an opportunity to offer more to them, I will definitely grab it. But politics is not my cup of tea", said Samantha, sealing curiosity any further. But she also went ahead to explain why she says no to politics - "As a heroine, my life is hectic. The prime focus of my mind is to detach myself from all this rush and have a family and a peaceful existence." So, does Samantha have that special someone shortlisted already, for a peaceful family?
