Looks like marriage hasn't changed Simran at all. She continues to court controversy like an oilpaper would a housefly.

The latest on Simran is that she is out of the much-written about Chandramukhi with Rajnikanth in the lead. The rumor is that she has been thrown out of the movie.

But another school of thought says that the actress took the exit option as she was in the family way. Curiously, there is no word yet from Simran herself. The actress, who is taciturn even in the best of times, has sometime said that she was not pregnant.

It is strange that such rumors are making their rounds even though the film revolves around Simran's character. In fact she was convinced when she was narrated the story and immediately accepted the offer.

One source says that Simran was unhappy to pair with Prabhu while Nayanatara gets to play opposite Rajnikanth.

Anyway, efforts are now on to rope in either Jyothika or Sadha for the role.
