The two dream girls of Kollywood each dated Simbu once. But these have also added to the bitter experience of STR's breakup stories. The young actor who just shed his 'Little Superstar' title interacted with the media recently and at the brink of having wrapped up 'Idhu Namma Aalu' and impending release of his long pending projects, Simbu opened up on his past, present and future. "I look forward to taking a three year break, and these two years of inactivity just happened along the way. In fact, although the two years have had no release from me, I have complete four films in this time, and the projects are mostly stuck in post production problems. As for 'Vettai Mannan', only one schedule is pending, which we aim to shoot soon. Going forward, I want to direct a movie. Also, I plan to contain myself to just two projects a year and I prefer not to have the 'Little Superstar' tagline imposing its pressure on my career," says Simbu, who admits to have matured far from the youngster who cared only about cinema, to someone deeper with insight about life.

Breakups have always been a thing in Simbu's life. But in the case of Hansika, he left no room for gossip, revealing his relationship status right after the change, every time. What separated them, after all? "Certain things are best left not discussed in public. But I can say this much that when it comes to marriage, a lot many things have to be considered. It is better to choose your way of life and make it clear, than be unadjusting and sorry later" he said. What about being spotted with Nayan, then? "We interacted on the sets of INA, and talk to each other when we meet in public places. There is nothing else to this. We are colleagues", Simbu states clearly. And the buddying Dhanush? Quite happy about having found a companion, STR says "There has long been miscommunication between me and Dhanush, with people in the middle fueling the fire. But we got to know each other personally and started catching up. We found out our real personalities and simply eliminated the ones that kept us apart from the way. We are good friends now."
