We have reported earlier that Kamlhassan's new movie started with a formal Pooja which is going to be the remake of Malayalam's all time hit 'Drishyam'. The movie had its remake in Telugu and Kannada as 'Drushyam' and 'Drishya' respectively and declared as hit too. The remakes featured 'Venaktesh' and 'V. Ravichandran' in corresponding versions. The makers are discussing for an apt title in Tamil.

'Drishyam' Tamil Remake pooja

The remakes featured different directors, Sri Priya and P. Vasu. But the Tamil version would carry, Jeethu Joseph as its director who created the original version and acclaimed writer, Jeyamohan will take care of the dialogues. Jeyamohan was last seen doing the same for Maniratnam's 'Kadal'. The recent press release has carried the details of crew but the cast is yet to decided.

Ghibran has been selected continuously for third time to compose music for Kamal's movie. Na. Muthukumar for lyrics, Ayoob Khan for Editing, Sujith Vassudev to handle lens, and Rembon will create the sets . The financial duties of the movie is taken care by, Suresh Balaje, George Pius of Wide Angle Creations, Raj jKumar Sethupathy & Sri Priya Rajkumar of Raj Kumar Theatres Pvt Ltd. The shooting will start by first week of August.
