Director Hari`s next film starring Vishal and Shruthi Haasan in lead roles is currently being shot in Karakudi, a famous locality for palace like houses. Each film of Hari will be set in different cities/towns but Hari uses to shoot most of the portions of every film directed by him in Karaikudi. In fact he lead the way for many Kollywood film makers turning towards the city and Karaikudi has now become an important shooting spot of Tamil films.

Interestingly the current schedule of Poojai` in Karaikudi is being canned with a host of actors since the film`s supporting cast includes many well known actors and actresses. Radhikaa, Soori, Black Pandi, Sundarrajan, Jayaprakash, Sithara, Kousalya, Renuka, Abhinaya, Imman Annachi, Thalaivasal Vijay, OAK Sundar, Manobala, Janaki Sabesh and Mukesh Tiwari are some of those who are stationed in Karaikudi for shooting the film now.

Hari has said, “it seems as if the entire Kodambakkam is stationed in Karaikudi now. Everyday people gather in large numbers to have a glimpse of the artistes”. The director also reveals that the entire team enjoys the schedule as they have a gala time. After completing the day`s shoot everyone get together and have a good chat.
