As we all know debutante director Ram’s ‘Mundasupatti’ is a period flick set in 1980’s. The film’s hero Vishnu Vishal owns a bike and the director wanted an old modelled bike matching with the period.

Though the team could manage to get a bike of that era, the team reportedly had a tough time shooting the scenes with the bike since it was not only old modelled but also in a very bad condition. The director confirms that the team was in constant fear that the shooting will be delayed due to the bike and they had to employ a bike mechanic throughout the shoot of the film to attend to any problems caused by the bike.

In a particular scene, the hero and his friend played by Kali Venkat, had to climb a slope with the bike. The bike did not get started while shooting the scene even despite many efforts. Then the team had to shoot the scene by pushing the duo with the bike down the slope. The same shot was reversed while editing. The net result is that, the audience will see them climbing the slope with the bike which is actually a reverse shot.
