While Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ is gearing up for a grand release on May 9, the actor’s next film may kick start a week before the release of ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ that is on May 3, if sources are to be believed.

Rajini’s next will be produced by Rockline Venkatesh and directed by K.S.Ravikumar. The story for the film has been written by Pon Kumaran who directed the 2012 film ‘Charulatha’ starring Priyamani. The film will have two portions, one set in the current era and another would be set in the 19th century. Rajini will be playing dual role in the flick and Sonakshi Sinha has been confirmed has one of the heroines while talks are on with Anushka to pair up with another role of Rajini in the film. Sources say that Bollywood lass Sonakshi Sinha was given the choice of selecting between either of the two heroine roles and the ‘Rowdy Rathore’ actress has opted for the role set in 19th century.

Earlier it was reported that Rajini’s next after ‘Kochadiiyaan’ will kick start on May 19 but now we hear it will be May 3. We will have to wait for an official confirmation to get rid of confusions.
