Actress Abhinaya who made a sparkling debut with Samuthirakani directed super hit film ‘Nadodigal’ acted in a more powerful role in Sasikumar directed ‘Eesan’. Despite her performance being appreciated by fans and critics alike, the actress did not get notable roles after that, though she appeared in a miniscule role in Ajith starrer ‘Veeram’.

In the meantime the young actress, who is seen as an icon of self confidence for achieving big in film industry overcoming her natural disability to speak and hear, has been concentrating in Telugu and Malayalam films. In Malayalam she acted as the wife of the lead hero Fahad Fazil in the recently released ‘One by Two.’

The good news is that the actress will be back in Tamil with another powerful role. It will be for Vishal-Shruthi Haasan starrer ‘Poojai’ that is being directed by Hari. ‘Poojai’ has many eminent artistes like Satyaraj, Radhika and Kausalya apart from Abhinaya in its supporting cast.
