A couple of weeks ago, news about the wedding date of Amala Paul and director Vijay spread like haywire and the ‘Nimirndhu Nil’ actress had to intervene to clarify that she will officially announce her future plans once Vijay who was stationed abroad at that time comes back to Chennai. Amala Paul had requested the media people to avoid writing about her wedding until then.

Last week Amala Paul’s mother confirmed that her daughter is indeed in love with director Vijay and their engagement and wedding will happen soon. She had mentioned that the engagement will take place in Cochin and the date of wedding which will happen in Chennai will be fixed during the engagement.

However right form this morning news about the venue and date of the much expected wedding being fixed has started surfacing. It is being reported that the betrothal of Director Vijay and Amala Paul will take place on June 7 in Cochin. Wedding has been scheduled on June 12 at the Mayor Ramanathan Chettiar Hall at MRC Nagar, Chennai.

Let’s not conclude anything and wait for an official confirmation as promised by the ‘Thalaiva’ actress who has been romantically linked to the director right from her first association with the director in ‘Deivathirumagal’.
