The stupendous success of her debut film Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam has placed Sridivya at the top of the heroine ladder and also the favorite of young heroes who are hot in trade. Currently the pretty lass has G.V.Prakashs acting debut Pencil, Suseenthiran directed Jeeva in which she is paired opposite Vishnu Vishal and Sivakarthikeyan starrer Taana directed by Durai Senthilkumar of Ethirneechal fame.
Now the latest is the young actress has grabbed the opportunity to work with another successful young actor. Sridivya will be acting with Vikram Pabhu in a film to be directed by Ezhil whose lates film Desinguraja wtih Vemal and Bindu Madhavi in lead roles was commercially successful. .
Ezhil has revealed in an interview that the film is a romantic entertainer that is set in a village near Thanjavur. Vikram Prabhu acts as the son of M.S.Bhaskar who owns a light music troupe. Vikram Prabhu wants to enter real estate business but becomes a male singer in his father's troupe since his father wants him to take up the family's traditional business. He saves Sridivya from a trouble her character faces in the film. John Vijay plays the main villain role.
The film was formally launched on Tamil New Year's day in veteran actor Sivaji Ganesan's house for auspicious reasons. The film's shooting will actually kick start from May, since Vikram Prabhu has requested for some time to change his hairstyle suiting the rural based character.
