While his second production venture Naan Sigappu Manidhan directed by Thiru is running to packed houses and gathering positive reviews Vishal has started working on his third production venture ‘Poojai’ that will by directed by Hari.

Vishal who plays the lead role in the film recently took part in a stylish photo shoot with Shruthi Haasan who has been roped in as the heroine of the film.

In an official press statement director Hari who is back after delivering a blockbuster in Singam 2 with Suriya has given hints about the story of the film.

“As per the story the hero (Vishal) fights against an important problem currently faced by the country. This has been told with family sentiment and romance at the backdrop. The film has ample scope for romance as equal to action and chasing sequences. It is a triangular action subject. The film will begin in Coimbatore and end in Bihar. It will have all the ingredients expected in my film but it will be a better version of my previous films. I am working with Vishal after a gap of seven years. Vishal has developed as a performer. Poojai will take both of us to the next level of our respective careers.”

Hari has stated that since the film starts in Coimbatore which is the textile hub of Tamilnadu, ultra modern costumes will be used for the lead characters and they will look apt with Shruthi. Shruthi’s characters are not just Vishal’s love interest and she has scope from the beginning to end of the film.
