Sivakarthikeyan who is all set to take an action avatar with his upcoming film Maan karate scheduled for release on April 4 has revealed in a recent interview to a leading newspaper that he wishes to follow Madhavan, in transforming his image.

It is to be remembered that Madhavan who was known as a chocolate boyish romantic turned as a stylish action hero with Lingusamy directed Run that released in 2002.

Sivakarthikeyan says that knows he has to try different genres but he will do them only at his own pace. The Television anchor turned actor says he makes it a point to be convince himself before trying something entirely different from what he has done so far. Assuring that Maan Karate, has more number of action sequences than any of his earlier films, the actor celebrated for his comic timing says he cannot think of acting in a film that does not have scope for comedy.

Sivakarhtikeyan also says he wants to make sure, that his films offer a good package since people can not just keep watching him for two and a half hours. For this he also took part in music composing sessions with Anirudh and gave his suggestions about the songs.
