Ace Lyricist Vairamuthu has penned all the songs in Kochadiiyaan but for one song written by Valee who passed away last year. Apart from the music of double Oscar winner A.R.Rahman, another added attraction to the film’s audio is that Superstar Rajnikanth and his wife Latha Rajnikanth have crooned separate songs for this film.

Vairamuthu has said that it was very tough to convince the Super star to sing the Maattram Ondrudaan Maaraadhadhu number, who initially rejected the idea. Vairamuthu shared another interesting piece of information about the lyrics of the song. He said that Rajni sat with him for almost a week to finalize the lyrics of this philosophical song.

In the process Vairamuthu has identified the writer in Rajni and exclaimed on his richness in words. The impending Padma Bhushan awardee also suggested that Rajni should pen the dialogues for a film.

It is worth recounting that the Superstar has penned the story for a few of his films like Valli and Baba. If he pens dialogues for a film, it will be a new feather added to the cap of this veteran actor.
